Hands-on Workshop: Navident


This series of sessions offer smaller, more intimate settings that offer hands-on training and encourage one-on-one interaction with presenters. Each session will provide registrants the opportunity to put their skills to practice using state-of-the-art materials that will vary for each session and are described below. Sessions are limited and pre-registration is required.

Dynamic Navigation, Optimizing Surgical Accuracy on the Spot: A Hands On Workshop

Dynamic surgical navigation technology is the only modality that allows for real-time verification and validation of positional accuracy in osteotomy site preparation as well as implant placement. This comprehensive hands-on workshop will include clinical protocols, case presentations inclusive of edentulous protocols and cases. The Navident workflow will be demonstrated, attendees will have the opportunity to practice treatment planning cases on navigation software, registration and calibration of instruments as well as drilling on models utilizing the Navident surgical navigation system.

Upon completion of this presentation, participants will be able to: 1) discuss the advantages of dynamic surgical navigation; 2) explain how to use navigation technology for enhanced precision and accuracy in implant therapy; and 3) describe the dynamic navigation workflow to optimize success.
