About AO’s 2018 Annual Meeting

For the first time in its history, the Academy of Osseointegration will be hosting its Annual Meeting in Los Angeles – putting the spotlight on all the customary components, as well as new and interactive features worthy of a first-class event. How do I register to attend?

The fastest and easiest way is to register online. You can access the registration site by CLICKING HERE. This link can also be found in the top menu on each page of the Annual Meeting website.

You can also register by mailing or faxing the Annual Meeting Registration form to the AO home office. This form is available on the homepage of the Annual Meeting website and in the Registration Packet.

What time, on the cutoff date, do the Registration fees increase?

The rates increase after midnight, Central Standard Time (U.S.-Chicago) on January 8, 2018. Increased rates apply at 12:01 am on January 9.

Does AO offer discounts on hotel accommodations and airline travel?

Yes, Annual Meeting attendees will receive a special room rate at the chosen official meeting hotels for the 2018 Annual Meeting. CLICK HERE for more information about the 2018 meeting hotels.

How do I get a letter of invitation that is necessary to apply for a Visa to travel to the United States?

If you are applying for a Visa to travel to the United States, you may need to provide a document stating your intention to travel. The Academy of Osseointegration can provide a “letter of invitation” to our attendees from countries outside the U.S.

To request your letter of invitation, please contact us at cherieseyller@osseo.org . The letter will be sent to you by email after you’ve completed your registration.

What Annual Meeting functions/activities can my spouse/guest attend?

Registered spouses and guests (limited to two per attendee) are provided access to the Exhibit Hall as well as invited to attend the Thursday evening Welcome Reception and the Friday evening President’s Reception.

Please note: ADA CERP, or other educational credit, is not available for a Spouse/Guest registration. If your Spouse/Guest wants educational credit, please register them separately as a regular attendee.

Will free wireless access to the internet be available at the Los Angeles Convention Center?

Yes.

Free wireless access is available throughout all areas of the Los Angeles Convention Center, including the plenary session meeting rooms and the exhibit hall.

What is appropriate meeting attire?

Business casual attire is recommended for this meeting.

How do I become a member of AO?

Membership applications can be downloaded from the AO website and mailed, emailed or faxed to the AO home office. Completed application forms must be submitted with the required information/documents and membership fees to qualify for the members discounted Annual Meeting Registration fees. Membership applications must be received in the AO office at least two weeks prior to registration deadlines. For more information about AO membership, click the button below.
