Preeminent Smithsonian museum sets backdrop for 2019 President’s Reception

The Academy of Osseointegration’s (AO) 2019 Annual Meeting has all the ingredients to be the premier dental Congress of the year, not the least of which will be the President’s Reception.

Complimentary for all registered attendees, this phenomenal AO event will be held on Friday, March 15 at the National Museum of Natural History. Located on the National Mall in Washington, DC, the Museum boasts the largest natural history collection and is the most popular natural history museum in the world.

Enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres and cocktails with your colleagues from around the world while delving into the fascinating story of our planet, and explore life on Earth through exhibitions and activities, collection objects, and research that happens in the lab and in the field. AO attendees will have the opportunity to walk through Oceans Hall, Mammals Hall, Winston Gallery, and the National Gem Collection.

View permanent exhibits featuring the epic story of how humans have evolved over six million years, a one-of-a-kind interpretive exhibit of the world’s oceans, walk through time to explore scientists’ findings about America’s last dinosaurs, and so much more.

“Throughout its history, AO’s spectacular social events at our Annual Meetings have been the stuff of legend- and this is one event you will not want to miss! I look forward to seeing you all in Washington, DC!” said AO President Dr. James C. Taylor.
